Sheryl Sanberg’s Book: Lean In: Women, Work, and The Will To Lead

Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s book is titled  Lean In: Women, Work, and The Will To Lead. It discusses research that has found women often quietly hold themselves back in the workplace in ways that men don’t, frequently because women are afraid of being penalized for being perceived as aggressive or ambitious. In fact, her book has been called “an unapologetic manifesto aimed at fixing one of the world’s biggest problems: a lack of women in power.”

One of her most powerful rhetorical device in the book is an array of statistics illustrating the state of women of power in the world. Take a look at the slideshow below, pretty powerful stuff.
